Location
Located in the heart of Santa Monica, a sea-side community rich with cultural institutions, shopping, galleries, bookstores, restaurants, and a variety of entertainments, the Santa Monica Museum of Art offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy stimulating contemporary arts exhibitions and programming (current exhibitions) for all ages.

Situated only three miles from the Pacific Ocean, the museum is a unique and challenging part of any visit to the West Side of Los Angeles.

Bergamot Station
The museum is part of Bergamot Station, a historic train station transformed into a dynamic and lively arts complex unique in Los Angeles. Bergamot Station houses 33 galleries, 10 shops, and a cafe. Parking is plentiful and FREE at all times. All facilities are wheelchair accessible.

Public Transportation
The Santa Monica Museum of Art is accessible by the City of Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus, routes 11 or 7. For additional information on how to reach the museum, please refer to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority's website, http://www.mta.net/.

Directions
Bergamot Station is just off the interstate 10 freeway. From the 10 East or West: Take Cloverfield exit onto Cloverfield Blvd. going north. Take first right onto Michigan Avenue. Michigan Avenue dead ends in Bergamont Station.

The Santa Monica Museum of Art is located in building G-1, at the southwest corner of the parking lot.

From the 405 North or South: Take the 10 West and follow above directions.
