SMMoA's Twentieth Anniversary Artist Plate Project

Recently featured in the Los Angeles Times, Juxtapoz Magazine,and soon to be featured at Designboom at the ICFF, this limited edition is available as a set of twelve porcelain plates, The plates are signed and numbered and each plate is 12 inches in diameter.

Original artwork for the Plate Project was contributed by Mark Bradford, Kota Ezawa, Gajin Fujita, Charles Gaines, Joe Goode, Salomón Huerta, Kerry James Marshall, Kim McCarty, Raymond Pettibon, Allen Ruppersberg, Alison Saar, and Álvaro Siza.

ARTIST BEACH TOWELS

Just in time for summer, these artist-designed beach towels are for those who want to wrap themselves in art. Featuring works by Alex Katz, Kehendi Wiley, Elizabeth Peyton and Jeff Koons , the towels are gigantic (measuring 60"x70"), soft and the colors look great in terry cloth.

BEWARE OF DOG

BEWARE OF DOG signs, painted in Nepal, are one-of-a-kind, hand painted portraits of dogs rendered in startling detail on metal. "Danger Dog" and other charming variations on the "Beware of Dog" theme are written in Nepalese, Tibetan and/or English, and turned into a unique work of art. Choose one of the many dogs we have available, or commission your own pet's portrait.

VINTAGE TEES AND CASHMERE


Just in time for summer, Gracie has restocked our fabulous artist designed vintage tees and cashmere sweaters. The tees are incredibly soft, hand dyed and then printed with images from guest artists. Raymond Pettibon, Salomon Huerta and Brody Condon have all generously donated a design to the museum for the tee shirts. The cashmere sweaters are also back for the cool California evenings, featuring designs by Pettibon, Huerta and Venice artist Lynn Hansen.
